Common problems

Technology can sometimes have a mind of its own. If you encounter a hiccup during your session at Little Birdie, don't worry, most issues can be resolved in a minute or two using these simple steps.
Top 3 Common Fixes
1. Screen "Frozen" After a Shot
If the UI corners disappear and the screen remains stuck on an image of the hole, the course mode window may have lost focus.
The Fix: Using the keyboard, press the Windows key. You will see two Trackman (TPS) windows in your taskbar.
Action: Hover over the TPS icon in the taskbar to see the thumbnails, then click the "X" on the thumbnail for the "Course" window to close it. Finally, click back on the main TPS app window to resume your round.
2. Loading Glitches or Missing Tracer
If you experience a "failed to load" message, get stuck on a loading screen, or notice the ball tracer isn't appearing:
The Fix:
The "soft reset."
Action:
Exit the current game mode completely, then re-select it and start again. This clears the temporary cache and usually gets you back in action immediately.
3. Radar Connection Issues
If the system isn't registering your shots, the radars may have lost their connection to the PC.
Scenario A (Radars visible but not connecting): Click on both radars on the screen to manually reconnect. You will be prompted to recalibrate.
Action:
Place the calibration board on the floor, aligning the small cross with the center of the board. Do this for both IO Duo radars.
Hold the board up as high as possible against the hitting screen to calibrate distance. Repeat for both radars.
Scenario B (PC cannot see radars):
Action:
Close the TPS software. Hold the power button on each radar unit for 10 seconds to shut them down. Wait one minute, then turn them back on. Once they are powered up, double-click the TPS icon on the desktop to reconnect.
The "Golden Rule" of Troubleshooting
If the specific steps above don’t do the trick, try these in order:
1. Back out: Exit your current activity and restart it.
2. Restart the app: Close the TPS software entirely and reopen it.
3. The Full Reset: Press the large orange "Launch" button to power down the entire system. Wait 30 seconds, then press it again to restart everything from scratch.
